ON zine & bookmaking

As apart of my practice, I have dedicated myself to the fabrication of small edition handmade zines and other printed material. All bound and hand-trimmed in the studio, following archival standards

I have displayed these publications at international zine and bookmaker festivals. These currently these festivals include: Novel Ideas, Canzine, Expozine, Lonestar Zine Festival, San Antonio Zine Fest, Uncle Bob’s Photozine Market in the cities of Ottawa, Montréal, Toronto, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston

Heavily based on the photographic image, the photographs are captured during long walks through streets, alleys, and marginal spaces in the periphery of urban/natural environments

Photographing mostly at night, I often employ a film camera and flash to capture my experiences, later which I hand develop and scan back at the studio

Moving, wandering, exploring, and yes getting lost...it is my hope that others can also see the temporal, serendipitous beauty which exists around each of us, in the everyday
